Bees Deluxe has toured from Maine to Miami winning fans, amazing audiences and sharing the stage with headliners like: Ronnie Earl, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Mike Zito, Walter Trout, Joanna Connor, Matt Schofield, Mike Welch and Roomful of Blues. Warre was in a high school band with Paul Kossoff, of the band Free.
Joanna and band shared stages with Blues, Rock and Jazz greats, including Luther Allison, BB King, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Robben Ford, Danny Gatton, Robert Cray, Jimmy Page, ZZ Top, Joe Cocker, Etta James, and others. Joanna signed endorsement deals with Gibson Guitars, Victoria Amps, LaBella Strings, Mesa Boogie Amps, and Orange Amps.
By 1987, Connor had started her own band, and recorded her first album for Blind Pig Records in 1989. [1][5] In 2002, Connor left Blind Pig Records, and signed a recording contract with M.C. Records (a small independent record label). [1][6] In 2021, Connor released the No. 1 blues album 4801 South Indiana Avenue, [7][8] via Joe Bonamassa 's Keeping the Blues Alive Records.
